Meme time! From Lexie:
Association Meme: Comment to this post and I will give you 5 subjects/things I associate you with. Then post this in your LJ and elaborate on the subjects given.

1) Carl is a dork
...Well, he is. XD And I think that's part of what makes him one of my favorite characters in Sneakers. He tries! A little too hard, sometimes, but he tries!

2) Pioneer Valley
I have a theory that the whole world comes down to the Five Colleges. How it does this I don't know, but... there's Lexie writing Gina's Yuletide assignment, there's at least two other former [livejournal.com profile] discworld_rpg people at Smith, there's my parents' former doctor being a Smith alum... srsly. SMALL WORLD.

3) Interesting tagging system
See, I can understand the use of straightforward tags in a community, or on my fic LJ - places where other people are trying to search things. But in my own journal, having a little fun with them is my top priority. If I can think of something that isn't an obvious link, I'll use it; for a fandom, it's probably a quote (see also 'in a cave with a box of scraps' or 'with my freeze ray i will stop'). Sometimes I can't think of one, and a lot more of them were straightforward before I finished retro-tagging my old entries and renamed a few (that's when 'computer issues' became 'out of cheese error').
It makes perfect sense within the confines of my head, and it's probably follow-able to someone who reads things under the same tag and spots the common thread.
(Possibly the most obvious of my wacky tags is 'mt. holyoke we pay thee tuition.' I think there are a few general-college-hunt posts at the very beginning of it, but... oh well?)

4) Todd Rundgren
...I cannot say enough good things about most of this man's music. There are a few songs that make me scratch my head, yes, but that happens with most people. Mostly, I would like the world to play SOMETHING OTHER THAN "BANG THE DRUM ALL DAY." There's so much sheer variety to everything he's done that leaving it at that does him a major disservice.
(Also, I could have met him when I was six, but I was too overwhelmed by the prospect to follow through. This is one of my major regrets.)

5) Outside Inn
Ah, the tiny game that I heart. There are possibilities there that can't be done in Milliways (this is where I eye [livejournal.com profile] runsthehouse), and I don't have the taste for the post-apocalyptic/'lolz you can NEVER GO HOME AGAIN' sort of panfandom.

In other news, Dr. Horrible is excellent driving music, if you don't mind hearing the same thing several times due to its shortness. Which I don't, as it is fun times!
