Also: Dear college, on what grounds does making the crosswalks a different material than the road and installing flashing lights with a talking alert thinger... and TAKING DOWN the 'push button for walk sign/stop light' posts... on a state highway... constitute an improvement in crosswalk safety? 'cause I felt safer when I could make sure the traffic stopped before crossing the street.
