minkhollow: view from below a copper birch at Mount Holyoke (incendiary wit)
There were technical difficulties (solved by bringing in a Playstation to play the DVDs on), and I think people made the mistake of trying to understand The Point - it's really one of those things you should just let slide by, in a few places. But Blank White Cards was a hit, and on the whole I think it was a successful evening.

Looked on ISIS to see if rooms for next semester were up yet - and three of my four classes are in Skinner. I knew this would happen at some point. XD Suppose it's what I get, for signing up for masses of history and philosophy.
I kind of don't want classes to start. J-term is what I want to do when I first get here in the fall - just hang out on campus and not really *do* anything. With any luck, I'll get over that in the next week.
Meanwhile, I've started reading I, Robot, partly because Sara's got most of my Pratchett. It's rather interesting, thus far.
Perhaps I should take advantage of Free Cookies of Awesome tonight.
