I've been wandering through the desert

Okay. Have stopped beating self up over this morning's dumbassery. I'll just keep telling myself if the weather in New York's anything like the weather here today, I prolly don't want to be there, and maybe I'll believe it by the time the bus would be heading back.
Meanwhile, there's actually someone at the info desk just now, so I'm going to head back with my checkbook in a few and try to sign up for next week's.
UPDATE: Ticket achieved. Much rejoicing, suchlike.

Also: A brainwave off some rants gehayi linked the other day is coming together. I'm going to need a decent map of Cincinnati to pull it off, and prolly one that's actually on paper, but hey. It's a story!
