minkhollow: (song of the viking)
Seems between me and [livejournal.com profile] daegaer, we've developed a bit of a Hitchhiker's Guide/Good Omens continuum - my contribution being 'Space is Big,' and hers being Life, the crystal spheres, and everything and Armageddon. Fun times for all involved. And perhaps also proof that nothing is impossible, just highly improbable.
Speaking of whom! Your request is in. Wrote it this afternoon (love having a study hall).
Got within 50 pages of being caught up on Les Mis, and then the teacher assigned another 50. I just can't win here. (But I've actually been reading it, which is of the good.)
ETA geek moment in government: Overhead projector's on, teacher's pointing at something, at one point his whole hand is casting a shadow on the screen, I think 'Hey! Was that Deformed Rabbit?'

We have three free songs from the Pepsi-and-iTunes thing. Our computer's OSX isn't the right one for the store, though, so ingenious plan: Set it up on Mom's school computer, burn the stuff onto a CD there, and bring it home. We're going to wind up spending actual money on this, probably, but I thought I'd better write what all we've got in mind down. So:
to be purchased or have bottle caps put to use for )
Oh! And while I'm here - there's another song we're looking for. It's by Yes, and there's a lot of references to chess pieces in it, and between me and my parents we can't figure out the name (they think it's not even mentioned in the song). Anyone know the name of it? 'Cause if we can get that it'd be great.
