Oh, really?
19 Apr 2003 10:00 pmI might have a job next fall.
One of my friends from school (she graduated last year) called to see if I'd be interested in working with her at the Rennaisance Festival. I'd get in free, have discounts on food and suchlike, and only have to work one day each weekend. (Of course, some weekends I'd probably die of exhaustion between RenFest and band stuff, but what the hell.) Haven't decided yet, and will prolly have to be driving by then if I want the job. But still. Good way to start a career, isn't it?
Forgot to mention last night - we watched movies. It'd been the right amount of time since I saw Just Visiting for everything to be funny. And The Tuxedo... for a while there, I was considering never drinking bottled water again. That was before I figured out which water the baddie was talking about. At any rate, Pestilence pulled some inspiration from that, so I got some needed RPGing in.
Am about 40 pages into Hogfather (bought that yesterday, donchaknow). Teatime is... um... yeah.
Surprisingly (for a yardwork day, anyway), there was very little of War about the place. More like Pollution, once I got the garden hose out. Of course, it was mostly in the name of watering plants. And getting dirt off all these rocks we've got about the place. Which creates mud - even if it was in the name of cleanliness. (Sort of.)
