Changed GO icon, and therefore layout. ::blinks:: Wow. That's... different. Music, for those curious, has been the case nearly all day.
Yesterday some guys in my English class were goofing around with the windows - one of the blinds fell off and hit somebody in the head. He's all right (four stitches), and it would've been quite funny if not for the accidental bloodshed.
Frankenstein papers due tomorrow. Considered adding a bit to my conclusion, but decided against it - I suck at conclusions on formal papers anyway. Why make it worse?
Apple got a copy of Good Omens from me on the occasion of her birthday in September - she hasn't made it past page 50 yet. The friend who got it from the library is past that. She's fairly well determined to finish it before him - this oughta be fun to watch. XD
Another friend keeps writing "could of" instead of "could have" in papers and suchlike. Am v. close to strangling him for the offense - or at least getting the proper version tattooed backward on his forehead.
Typed the War/Pestilence fic up through the Crusades bit last night. There are... five or six footnotes so far. So, good news for those of you who enjoy such things. Will have to research some of the Alexander-the-Great bit before I send it off for beta, methinks - will prolly lose a great line for the sake of historical accuracy, but what can you do?
morsmordre is worried that she might be coming down with SARS. Pestilence has been harassing her about it in his spare time. Got himself a hearty LJ thumbs down earlier. XD It's quite fun, and she knows it's me being RPG-ish off RPG time, but still. Prolly looks weird to most other people.
(Oh, and the medical-excuse-as-an-art-form girl in that last comment? She's in a few of my classes. When she's actually at school, that is. She doesn't show up for much actual school, unless we're on a weird schedule that day or it's the end of the quarter. The other students are generally of the opinion she ought to be failing.)
