But, you know. I'm doing it anyway. XD
further LotR updates. gratuitous use of exclamation marks. )
I think my (graduating) class kicked arse in the jug wars thing. (It's a long story, maye you can get me to explain tomorrow.) In a nutshell, pennies are positive points and everything else is negative.
The freshmen tried stocking up on pennies, but pulled them out too soon. So, the last half of lunch was spent contributing to their demise (we hope). Somebody in my math class brought in 38 rolls of pennies, and got some from someone else. I had at least half a gallon, prolly a little bit over. Less than a minute to go in the last lunch on the last day for jug wars, I pull that out and stick the bag in the jar. Yaaay!
This is the closest I get to having school spirit. For my school, anyway. Miami's basketball team takes up the rest of it.
Oh, and tomorrow's Mismatch Day. This is where having a plaid skirt for school really comes in handy. The outfit:
*school skirt
*blue camouflage capris
*stripey socks with peace signs and sparkly things - they're pretty long, which is important because
*my combat boots are also involved, so the socks have to stick over the tops.
*top half of Mom's sheep pajamas (Yesterday was pajama day, so I borrowed the pants for that, since I only own nightshirts.)
*Ministry of Silly Walks t-shirt - it's red (ish), so it clashes with the rest of the outfit
*tie-dyed scrunchie
Two invite-things out for the movie party. Princess Grace was happy about Bill & Ted and Ferris Bueller's Day Off being included in the plans. I don't think she's seen Young Frankenstein, though, so there'll be at least one surprise in there for her.
Me, I haven't seen the middle of Ferris Bueller. I know the premise and I know how it ends...
Had "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" stuck in my head earlier. About as... interesting as the Lumberjack Song getting stuck. XD
