minkhollow: view from below a copper birch at Mount Holyoke (not so much fallen...)
It's Horsepersons fanfic. It's surprisingly Christmasy. Read it.
I Really Admire Your Shoes
The same war it was in when I first had the idea, but a different battle.

Stealing the spellcheck-your-LJ-username thing:
input: minkhollow
output: mink hollow, mink-hollow, sinkhole, manhole, Mikhail, Mongol, Mongolia, monocle

I don't want to be a sinkhole or a manhole. Or a monocle, for that matter. The Bill & Ted quote as inspired by one of the returns:
"When did the Mongols rule China?"
"I don't know, I just work here."

(Side note: ::throttles LJ for being most uncooperative::)

::gets out Frying Pan of Doom*::
::levels it over LJ's posting/updating section::
You're gonna want some sort of protective gear, guys. And stuff with which to eat poached eggs.
::SPLUT!!::

* - The Frying Pan of Doom is from a short story set in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles universe... environment... thing. So is what it does. Has been used on my blog before, but never here, hence the explanation.
At least it didn't look like I was the only one having that problem.

Quote of the day goes to my friend: "If I get a part, I'm going to stuff you into a tin can and throw you in the creek." (She was talking to her little brother about play auditions at the time. XD)
Oh, and her little brother agrees about Legolas and Gimli.
Anyway. Fic rec! (For the Good Omens fans, anyway...)
[livejournal.com profile] afrai wrote this. Read it before I left earlier. 'Tis brilliant. Still working on the title problem.
Anyway. Basketball time, even if I do wind up writing during some of it. it's these plot bunnies, y'know? (Will fill you in later.)

Miami lost the basketball game, if you're wondering. Having the lead all first half didn't help them much, seeing as they didn't have the lead all second half. Oy.
Oh, and according to [livejournal.com profile] afrai, I am a Respected Authority on Horsepersons. XD Well, the world certainly needs one, and I'll let other people be the Respected Authorities on Crowley and Aziraphale. No mental image of the latter = probably couldn't write him to save my life = not planning to try and fail miserably.
And a note on the music. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Jim Creeggan is a bass god.
