First up is The Point (as may or may not be obvious).
What it is is this fun little cartoon (just over an hour long) that's sort of geared toward kids but then again, sort of not. It's about this town that's basically populated by Coneheads without the monotones - everything's got a physical point on it. Until this kid Oblio turns up, anyway. Oblio gets the big government guy's kid mad at him and eventually gets banished to The Pointless Forest, which isn't really that pointless at all.
(That guy in my icon? He's the pointed man. Arrows all over the place, calls everything pointless, goes MAYDAY! when Oblio says he's been thinking... relatively fun times.)
Why you should watch this: Okay, so the animation's not the best ever, but it's cute. The story's good. The music is WONDERFUL - then again, it's Harry Nilsson. Of course I'm going to think it's wonderful. (He wrote the story too, by the way.) It's narrated by Ringo Starr in most of the versions you'll find out there, though when I saw it on Cartoon Network they had Dustin Hoffman narrating.
For the RPage types, the town reminds me of what we've sort of set up Llamedos as, but maybe a bit more liberal. And not so much at the end, but the resemblance is there...
And besides, it just came out on DVD. Cheap, too, from what I've seen.

College thing is not really that much clearer, but odds are it'll be Mount Holyoke.
Am trying to figure out how to account for the lack of RPage presence that will undoubtedly go with the New Orleans trip over spring break - that'll probably merit its own post, though.
Still hideously behind on All Quiet; nearly done with Jingo.
