That's as enthusiastic as I can be bothered to get about it at the moment.

One of the drummers gave me crap after I commented on how we shouldn't be applauding one person for staying at attention, they all should be. Apparently since I'm not marching he doesn't think my opinion's worth it.
Excuse me. He knows I've marched before. He knows I know how a band ought be acting during practice (and even if I rarely did myself, I can still comment on it). He knows I'd be out there now if not for vacation during band camp. He knows I don't even have to be out there in the capacity I'm in. But I'm there anyway.
If I was helping the percussion section I'd a) be having words with the boy, and b) be seriously considering giving up. But having words won't help anyone, and the people I'm helping appreciate what I'm doing for them.

On the bright side, I get to go to Borders tomorrow. Am definitely buying Moving Pictures, and will get Something/Anything? (it's a Todd Rundgren CD) if they've got it. Otherwise there'll be one or two more Discworld books involved, and who knows? There might be anyway.
Also, I owe a Real Life (TM) friend a birthday present. Last year she got the First Hitchhiker's Trilogy book, so I'll either continue that or get GO.
