minkhollow: Dr. Horrible, caught off guard (ahhhhhhhhh!)

Hokay, so. Here's the [personal profile] quinby. Damn, that is a sweet [personal profile] quinby, you might say.
It has come to our realisation that we could just possibly be in the same place for our anniversary, if we can pull it off. The issue, as ever, is funding it. I can't buy a ticket for her, since my paycheck's barely going to get me through my student loans next month, and she is in a severe financial pinch as well.
And so, before airline prices for the end of July spike dramatically, we turn to you, dear Internets. If you can find it in your hearts and wallets to help us pull this off, donations would be greatly, greatly appreciated, and compensation in the form of fanfic by one of us can be arranged.
We're shooting for around 310 dollars, to cover airfare, but if we get more to help offset the costs of the visit, we certainly won't be protesting.
And so: Her Paypal account is angelicphoenix at gmail dot com. If you'd prefer to make a less-electronic donation, email her (same address) for more details.
We know it's kind of a big thing to ask people for money, in these times, but... this is a very important thing to us, and we're going to need a little help to pull it off. We greatly appreciate anything you might be able to send our way, even if it's just good wishes in pulling this off.

Hey, so I left a comment over at Quinby's journal about this but I never got a response. borrowing my brother's dreamwidth so I can leave this here.

When I'm caught up on my bills I can donate $150, this will likely happen in august or september, not hitting the goal you two wanted, but it is something? Have you tried this site: http://www.wishuponahero.com

I was in the same situation in April and I feel like I need to pass the karma along. Pay it forward, you know? You don't know me, but I found her post on the situation through random LJ searching, and it struck too close to home.
